Anime Onlys and those not caught up to the manga beware! I'll be talking about the newest chapter. So unless you feel like being spoiled, I'd skip this entry.

Alright, now that that's been settled OH WOW THIS NEW CHAPTER. I know I'm late to the discussion by a few days, but I wanted to wait for the Japanese raws to come out first and then read. It was worth the wait, in my humble opinion. I've mostly talked about my thoughts on new chapters I read on my writing blog on tumblr but since I'm trying to get used to using this site more often, I figured why not talk about my thoughts over here too.

To summarize on my previous thoughts: I have long since thought Loki wasn't the monster he was being painted out to be. It was too similar to how the stories about Oden were tossed around at the beginning of his flashback during Wano and on top of that, Loki being that evil was too on the nose. It's how I knew that Lilith couldn't have been the traitor back in Egghead because "Lilith the Evil" was too obvious. Not to mention, I'm an FMA fan, I am no stranger to the embodiment of greed growing too big for the operation of their progenitor. Then there was the mysteries surrounding Harald, initially I thought he was the true scumbag here but around 1143/1144ish, I started to let up a bit on that theory but that he was still a very suspicious figure.

Finally in 1145, we're getting a confirmation. He had his connections to the Gods' Knights and apparently he majorly fucked something up. But obviously the big question here is "What did he mess up though?" My guess, he purposefully thwarted off the plans of the Celestials at the last minute to set them back X amount of years.

He did that either by A) going along with the plans of the Celestials initially but then changing his mind at the last minute or B) he always planned on stabbing them in the back and acted along with them to gather the necessary intel before betraying them because ultimately his sons and his kingdom meant so much to him.

Then we have this ominous ass fight with Gunko and her arrows giving the Straw Hats the works too. Summers beating Saul and then Qiling packing up the principal and teacher at the school house... of course, every arc starts off with the stakes being risen for the Straw Hats to eventually overcome them and I look forward to seeing how they will. I swear if Saul dies after he and Robin FINALLY reunited after so many years, I'll riot. I'm sure Saul is fine but still TAT my emotions are in shambles about it TmT
